What does the July Budget mean for non-domiciles?

In an unexpected move, on 8 July the Chancellor announced that he will abolish permanent non-dom tax status, requiring anyone resident in the UK for more than 15 of the past 20 years to pay UK taxes on all their worldwide income and gains.  Current non-doms, and those who were previously considering non-dom status, now have until April 2017 to review their tax affairs and, if necessary, make some potentially life changing decisions.

Our guide to what this means for non-doms, written by our specialist tax adviser, Jospeh Brown, is now available to download.
