A partner since 1990, Neil has been involved in the audit of a large number of Lloyd's syndicates, and acted as lead partner on marine, non-marine aviation, motor and life syndicates, with particular involvement in personal lines insurers and motor and household property syndicates.

Neil regularly undertakes due diligence work and reviews in connection with the acquisition of managing agencies, syndicates and corporate members, and also audits a number of such companies. Neil has assisted insurers in assessing their risk management and governance systems, including in connection with Lloyd's, FCA and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Neil advises insurers on the preparation of business plans and financial models for the registration of new syndicates, managing agents and corporate members, as well as for individual members of Lloyd's who are transferring their unlimited liability underwriting into a company. He handles tax and other accountancy matters for a significant number of Lloyd's corporate and individual members.
