Our PKF Funds and Investment Management team, is some 25 strong and comprised of individuals who work either exclusively or predominantly in the sector. The senior members of our team have in aggregate 35 years' assurance and advisory experience and can draw on the wider experience of our PKF International's financial services teams. We understand the importance to non-executive boards and their investment management teams of working with professionals who understand the sector, the regulations and challenges faced and who can comment authoritatively on the issues which arise.
Our team can draw on the experience of working across 18 listed funds, and over 12 Investment managers and, through our wider financial services practice, we are experienced in dealing with funds under management in the region of £2.5bn.
Our multi-disciplinary team can provide a range of assurance and advisory services ranging from the more traditional statutory audits and interim reviews through to internal audit, structuring advice, fairness opinions, tax considerations, fund raisings and acting as a sponsor.
The senior members of our team are directly involved with the key stakeholders and regulatory bodies such as the AIC, FRC and FCA, ensuring we remain up to date and able to comment on the technical and emerging issues impacting the sector.
In addition to informal updates and information sharing, all auditor team members are required to attend mandatory structured annual sector training workshops, which include input from external contributors. The structure of our training is such that the team members are well placed to provide robust assurance and advice appropriately balanced with commercial and practical application.
