Smoke without fire? What can we learn from the FCA's wholesale insurance broker market study?

Date: 19/03/2019
Time: 8:00am - 9:45am

Overview:

Our next Broking Breakfast seminar, Smoke without fire? What we can learn from the FCA's wholesale insurance broker market study will take place on the 19 March 2019 at 8.30am (breakfast will be served from 8am) at No.1 America Square, 17 Crosswall, London, EC3N 2LB.

The FCA’s final report covers a lot of ground and while the FCA has not found clear evidence in relation to competition concerns there is still valuable insight into the London market that warrants attention.

In the seminar, we will explore:

  • Conflicts of interest – What does a business model conflict assessment look like?

  • Remuneration disclosure – What does the FCA really expect?

  • Market insights – What can firms learn from the report and apply to their own businesses?

  • Impact on market – With the conclusions reached, how does this leave the marketplace?

We do hope you can join us. Please let Lowis Fitt know if you or your colleagues can attend the seminar by 15 March 2019, stating any dietary or accessibility requirements that you may have.
