Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that are downloaded onto your computer or smartphone when you access a website.

We use cookies to monitor the performance of our website and to improve the user experience.

How can I manage cookies?

We ask all visitors to our website to give us consent to use cookies.

If you are uncomfortable with the use of cookies, most browsers now permit users to opt-out or block them. This varies from browser to browser. However, if you choose to opt-out or block cookies you may not be able to access certain sections of our website, and some parts of the site may not work as intended.

Alternatively, you may wish to delete the cookie from your system at the end of your visit to our website.

You can change your browser settings to manage cookies – including opting-out or blocking. The website About Cookies (http://www.allaboutcookies.org) gives browser-specific instructions on how to manage cookies.

What types of cookies do you use?

We use two types of cookies, these are:

1. Session cookie (PHPSESSID)

This cookie is ‘strictly necessary' for the site to function. It is integral to the code that runs the content management system.  The session cookie is only stored temporarily during a browsing session and a web browser normally deletes session cookies when the user leaves the website.

2. Google Analytics cookies

The cookies that we use are performance cookies, specifically we use: utma, utmb, utmz, utmc. The data being passed is anonymous. Assessing the data that the cookies provide allows us to monitor site performance and improve our website. Google provides details of all the cookies used by Google Analytics, click here for further details.
