Insurance Internal Audit Data Protection Seminar

Date: 25/05/2017
Aimed at: Insurance Internal Auditors
Time: 8:30am - 9:30am

Overview:

The forthcoming introduction of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in May 2018 has been a popular topic for discussion in the press and among industry groups, but how confident are you that your organisation understands the practical implications of the new regulations?

Our next breakfast seminar for Internal Auditors will help you to answer this and other important questions.

Internal Auditors need to respond to the challenge of keeping up-to-date with the threats to data protection and the new regulations. The briefing will therefore look at:

  • Emerging threats and challenges to keeping data protected,
  • Practical implications of GDPR on how data should be stored and used, and
  • Specific issues for data protection in the insurance sector.

The seminar will be led by Ian Singer, who heads up our specialist IT Assurance team and has many years' experience providing advice to organisations, including those in the insurance sector, on data protection.

Programme:

Breakfast will be served from 8.00am.  The seminar will begin at 8.30am and should conclude by 9.30am.
